The event took place on <strong data-start=\"524\" data-end=\"589\">Tuesday, October 14, 2025, at the Corinth Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"594\" data-end=\"1153\">Trophy\u03a4\u03c1\u03bf\u03c6\u03ae is an initiative of the <strong data-start=\"630\" data-end=\"664\">New Agriculture New Generation<\/strong> organization, implemented since 2019 through the founding donation of the <strong data-start=\"739\" data-end=\"776\">Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF)<\/strong>. It is a pioneering project that invests in the development and strengthening of the Greek innovation ecosystem in the agri-food sector, highlighting and rewarding innovative business ideas and startups operating in <strong data-start=\"993\" data-end=\"1041\">agritech, food technology, and agrologistics<\/strong>, with products and services that use innovative technologies, even at early stages of development (pre-seed).<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1155\" data-end=\"1785\">The 8th Trophy\u03a4\u03c1\u03bf\u03c6\u03ae Meet-Up was organized with <strong data-start=\"1202\" data-end=\"1214\">DS Smith<\/strong> as the main sponsor and the support of the <strong data-start=\"1258\" data-end=\"1289\">Corinth Chamber of Commerce<\/strong>. The event began with greetings from <strong data-start=\"1327\" data-end=\"1355\">Mr. Panagiotis Louziotis<\/strong>, President of the Corinth Chamber of Commerce, <strong data-start=\"1403\" data-end=\"1429\">Mr. Nikolaos Stavrelis<\/strong>, Mayor of Corinth, <strong data-start=\"1449\" data-end=\"1475\">Mr. Theodosios Roussos<\/strong>, Sales Manager at DS Smith, along with a presentation of DS Smith <strong data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1558\">Case Studies<\/strong>, highlighting best practices and innovations in food packaging. Greetings were also delivered by <strong data-start=\"1656\" data-end=\"1682\">Mr. Spyridon Zacharias<\/strong>, Deputy Regional Governor for Agricultural Economy and Veterinary Affairs of the Peloponnese Region.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1787\" data-end=\"2469\">The first discussion panel, titled <strong data-start=\"1822\" data-end=\"1905\">\u201cSmart and Sustainable Food Packaging: Where Innovation Meets Entrepreneurship\u201d<\/strong>, featured <strong data-start=\"1916\" data-end=\"1943\">Mr. Nikos Papavasileiou<\/strong>, Manager of the Kiatou Cooperative Union I.K.E., <strong data-start=\"1993\" data-end=\"2014\">Mr. Markos Leggas<\/strong>, Executive Director of European Programs &amp; Innovation and Vice President of Agribator \u2013 Peloponnese Innovation &amp; Agritech Center, <strong data-start=\"2145\" data-end=\"2169\">Ms. Anastasia Bravou<\/strong>, Agronomist at Bravos Grapes Stimagas S.A., and <strong data-start=\"2218\" data-end=\"2244\">Mr. Konstantinos Xydis<\/strong>, Salad Farm Xydis K. \u2013 Kolopastas D. \u2013 Nezis K. O.E. The panel was moderated by <strong data-start=\"2325\" data-end=\"2348\">Mr. Fanis Kourembes<\/strong>, Agronomist and Board Member of the Hellenic Chamber of Geotechnical Sciences, and concluded with a short Q&amp;A session.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2471\" data-end=\"2887\">The second panel, <strong data-start=\"2489\" data-end=\"2585\">\u201cSustainable Packaging in Practice: Scientific Knowledge with Horizontal Market Application\u201d<\/strong>, included <strong data-start=\"2596\" data-end=\"2622\">Mr. Ioannis Lagoyannis<\/strong>, Director of SAEK Corinth \u2013 Nemea Agricultural School, <strong data-start=\"2678\" data-end=\"2705\">Mr. Dimitris Tsamparlis<\/strong>, Owner of \u201cGenuine Flavors,\u201d and <strong data-start=\"2739\" data-end=\"2764\">Mr. Vasilis Mandrekas<\/strong>, CEO of Mandrekas Dairy S.A. The discussion was moderated by <strong data-start=\"2826\" data-end=\"2853\">Dr. Anastasios Kampolis<\/strong>, Chemist at CheMa Laboratories.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"2889\" data-end=\"3120\">In the final part of the program, participants of the Meet-Up took part in an <strong data-start=\"2967\" data-end=\"2995\">idea-generation workshop<\/strong>, where they developed and presented innovative proposals.
