{"id":8664,"date":"2024-08-02T12:18:10","date_gmt":"2024-08-02T09:18:10","guid":{"rendered":"https:\/\/newagri.org\/mi-katigoriopoiimeno\/agroanelixi-farmers-of-the-future\/"},"modified":"2025-06-19T12:53:13","modified_gmt":"2025-06-19T09:53:13","slug":"agroanelixi-farmersofthefuture","status":"publish","type":"post","link":"https:\/\/newagri.org\/en\/lines-of-action\/agroanelixi-farmersofthefuture\/","title":{"rendered":"AgroAnelixi 2025 &#8211; Farmers of the Future"},"content":{"rendered":"<p data-start=\"59\" data-end=\"401\">The program is aimed at farmers, livestock breeders, beekeepers, cooperatives, producer groups, and small-scale food businesses seeking to improve existing or develop new, high-quality, competitive agrifood products.<\/p>\n<p data-start=\"591\" data-end=\"883\">The <strong data-start=\"595\" data-end=\"634\">Agr\u03bfAnelixi \u2013 Farmers of the Future<\/strong> accelerator is implemented by the <strong data-start=\"669\" data-end=\"703\">New Agriculture New Generation<\/strong> organization through a founding donation from the <strong data-start=\"754\" data-end=\"792\">Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).<\/strong> The program operates under the auspices of the <strong data-start=\"840\" data-end=\"883\">Ministry of Rural Development and Food.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"885\" data-end=\"1170\">The acceleration program, which will last for six months, will select <strong data-start=\"955\" data-end=\"1003\">a total of 12 businesses from across Greece.<\/strong> Of these, <strong data-start=\"1014\" data-end=\"1084\">four participants will come from Megalopolis and neighboring areas<\/strong> and will receive support from the <strong data-start=\"1119\" data-end=\"1170\">PPC Group (Public Power Corporation of Greece) and three participants will recieve support from the Municipality of Agia.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1172\" data-end=\"1528\">Selected businesses will take part in <strong data-start=\"1210\" data-end=\"1245\">specialized training workshops,<\/strong> where they will gain practical business knowledge and guidance for developing new, differentiated, and competitive products. They will also receive <strong data-start=\"1394\" data-end=\"1465\">personalized advisory support from experienced market professionals<\/strong> to address their specific needs, all <strong data-start=\"1503\" data-end=\"1528\">at no financial cost.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1530\" data-end=\"1962\">So far, the <strong data-start=\"1542\" data-end=\"1581\">Agr\u03bfAnelixi \u2013 Farmers of the Future<\/strong> program has supported <strong data-start=\"1604\" data-end=\"1644\">85 agrifood businesses across Greece<\/strong> and contributed to the <strong data-start=\"1668\" data-end=\"1713\">development and launch of 70 new products<\/strong> in both domestic and international markets. Businesses that have benefited from the program become more sustainable and competitive, strengthening <strong data-start=\"1861\" data-end=\"1897\">local economies and value chains<\/strong> and contributing to the <strong data-start=\"1922\" data-end=\"1962\">regional development of the country.<\/strong><\/p>\n<p data-start=\"1964\" data-end=\"2246\">The <strong data-start=\"2035\" data-end=\"2080\">American Farm School and Perrotis College<\/strong> will provide <strong data-start=\"2094\" data-end=\"2133\">chemical analyses of soil and food.<\/strong> Additionally, <strong data-start=\"2148\" data-end=\"2169\">Specialist Awards<\/strong> will offer <strong data-start=\"2181\" data-end=\"2219\">free participation in taste awards<\/strong> for program beneficiaries.
