What is TrophyΤροφή?
TrophyΤροφή is a pioneering initiative that invests in developing and strengthening Greece’s agrifood innovation ecosystem. It showcases and rewards innovative business ideas and startups in agritech, foodtech and agrologistics whose products and services use innovative technologies, including those at an early stage of development.
Meet-ups are a core feature of TrophyΤροφή. Through panel discussions, fireside chats and hands-on ideation exercises, participants connect with experienced entrepreneurs, academics and industry experts, gain practical knowledge and expand their professional networks.
New Agriculture New Generation has organised TrophyΤροφή since 2019, with the support of a founding grant from the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF). The initiative has collaborated with most universities and research institutions, as well as multinational companies and venture capital firms.
To date, the initiative has supported 150 startups and business ideas, providing advisory support and access to essential networks in Greece and abroad. This support helps them develop commercial and business solutions that address current challenges in the agrifood sector.
TrophyΤροφή is a dynamic programme that mobilises the agrifood innovation ecosystem,
creating opportunities for new ideas to develop into promising business propositions. It is
designed for teams and startups working in agritech, foodtech and agrologistics that are
developing innovative products, services and technological solutions, even at the earliest
stages.
