Shaping the Future Leaders of Greece’s Agrifood Sector
The organization New Agriculture New Generation is designing and implementing, for the 4th time in Greece, the innovative leadership program Agrifood Leadership, under the scientific guidance of Rutgers University, New Jersey, USA, and under the auspices of the Ministry of Rural Development and Food. The Founding Donor of New Agriculture New Generation is the Stavros Niarchos Foundation (SNF).
The first specialized leadership program in Greece in the Agrifood sector! Agrifood Leadership is a high-quality educational program aimed at entrepreneurs, professionals, and rising executives in the agrifood industry.
The program’s main goal is to provide substantive and practical knowledge related to developing leadership capabilities, communication skills, and knowledge on selected key issues in the sector (agronomic and environmental).
The new cycle will run from November 2026 to June 2027, and for the first time will carry accreditation from EIT Food, with the program now officially certified with the EIT Label — a leading European “quality seal” for education programs in innovation and entrepreneurship.
What the EIT Label certification means
The EIT Label is a mark of excellence for education and training programs that follow the quality standard of the European Institute of Innovation and Technology (EIT), emphasizing the quality of educational design, skills development, and measurable impact.
The awarding of the EIT Label to Agrifood Leadership by EIT Food confirms the program’s high quality and impact, placing the learner at the center of the experience, in the sustainable transformation of the agrifood system.
