CULTIVATE is the digital learning platform and agricultural knowledge hub of New Agriculture New Generation.
The Cultivate online learning platform is a non-formal education hub for the agrifood sector, operating at both national and European levels. Designed around the Greek reality and the evolving needs of producers, CULTIVATE combines international standards with local knowledge and experience.
It brings innovation, entrepreneurship and sustainable agriculture closer to people working across the agrifood sector, offering practical, accessible and high-quality learning opportunities.
Its purpose is to create meaningful training opportunities for young people, farmers, professionals and entrepreneurs. Through its educational programmes, participants can develop or strengthen the knowledge, skills and competences that support their entry into the agrifood sector, professional development and continued competitiveness in a rapidly changing environment.
The CULTIVATE Academy provides structured learning through online courses, organised learning pathways, webinars, digital resources and community engagement activities. All learning activities and training programmes are developed by distinguished instructors and the experienced team of New Agriculture New Generation, in collaboration with Greek and international universities, research institutions and specialised sector professionals.

CULTIVATE is a powerful tool for organisations and partners seeking to deliver training, skills development, knowledge-transfer and community-engagement activities.
With multiple content formats and features that respond to users’ need for interactivity, immediacy and flexibility, the Academy is suitable for fully asynchronous courses as well as hybrid programmes that combine self-paced learning with live sessions and direct interaction with trainers.
Its chat function and communities enable learners to engage with one another and with instructors, fostering the feeling of an active learning community, wherever participants are located in Greece.
The platform’s advanced Report Center provides valuable insights into users, courses, learner progress and time spent on the platform. These insights support better monitoring of activities, a clearer understanding of user participation, and the continuous improvement of the learning experience.
Although it was originally created as a national platform dedicated to the needs of the Greek agrifood sector, CULTIVATE has evolved into a flexible and scalable digital infrastructure. Today, it can support national and European initiatives, training programmes, stakeholder-engagement activities, learning pathways and capacity-building programmes.
The Academy has already been successfully used to deliver important programmes of New Agriculture New Generation, including Grow – Cultivating the Resilience of Greek Farmers, supported by EIT Food; the Green Skills in the Agrifood course series under the Be Future Ready programme, supported by Citi Foundation; the asynchronous learning components of the ΑγροΑνέλιξη programme; and the alumni community of the Agrifood Leadership programme.
Through CULTIVATE, New Agriculture New Generation facilitates the development of digital skills, knowledge transfer and the uptake of innovation across diverse agrifood ecosystems.
