New Agriculture New Generation and APIVITA, a member of the 1% for the Planet network, collaborated on the program Queen Bee Breeding: Utilization, Preservation, and Improvement of Bee Genetic Material in Evia.

Through the program’s diverse initiatives, significant benefits were achieved for both the beekeepers in Evia and the broader enhancement of biodiversity in the region.

The collaboration extended to the programs Restarting Beekeeping in Thessaly: Natural Disasters – Protection and Recovery of Beekeeping Capital, providing substantial support to beekeepers affected by the Daniel storm, and Restarting Beekeeping in Thessaly: Recovery and Preservation of Indigenous Genetic Material, focusing on skill development and knowledge enrichment.
