Social Farming 360° Through the Stories of Its People
The Social Farming 360° programme was implemented across six correctional facilities in Greece, demonstrating how vocational training in sustainable agriculture can become a meaningful tool for empowering incarcerated individuals and supporting their social reintegration.
With 1,081 participations, 648 hours of training, and 696 ACTA-certified professional qualifications, the programme represents a pioneering model for skills development and social inclusion within correctional settings.
A Documentary Capturing the Programme’s Real Impact
To further highlight the significance and social impact of Social Farming 360°, a short documentary was produced following visits to two of the six agricultural correctional facilities where the training took place.
Through authentic personal testimonies, programme beneficiaries and contributors share their experiences with honesty and openness. Guided by open-ended conversations rather than scripted responses, they reflect on the challenges they faced, the skills they developed, and the ways in which the programme influenced their lives and future prospects.
These personal stories capture the programme’s impact in a way that no statistic can fully convey, shedding light on different journeys of growth, transformation, and new beginnings.
